APCS's core business is to provide design and development of world-class and value added products with borderless marketing of Multipurpose IC Smart Cards. (ie. IC/Memory, IC/CPU and Combi Cards and its Operating System.

With a talented team of professionals and years of experiences, we have successfully explored and developed some high and advance products such as telephone pre-paid cards, handphone SIM card, highway fees collection card, membership card and etc.

Smart Cards basically fall into two categories:
ie. IC/CPU Card and IC/Memory Card
- IC/Memory Card:

Has limited function and is merely to store data like the telephone card.

- IC/CPU Card:

Has a high level of security features has multi-function capabilities, which can add ,delete and manipulate information in its memory such as a credit card.

- ID/Card Material:

  • PETG ( Polyethylene Terephthalate Copolymer)
also known as glycolised polyester, is used in the production of cards. The "G" represents glycol modifiers, which are incorporated to minimize brittleness and premature aging that occur. It's between PC & PVC. It's the latest material for card.
  • PC ( polycarbonate)
Polycarbonate, very high mechanical stability, long life with consistently stability. Can do the laser engraving to enhance its security.
  • PVC
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or a similar thermoplastic , most common used because it is cheapest and can be embossed. But it can't expose under sun-light.
Contactless Tag and Reader (Frequency based):
ie. UHF Active Tag and MIFARE Contactless Read / Write Reader
MIFARE Reader Broucher

- UHF Active Tag (OEM/ODM):

Tag Plastic casing moulding and PCB (Printed Circulated Board) design.
Tag frequency range available for:

  • 434 MHz
  • 868 MHz
  • 902-924MHz
  • 2.45 GHz

- MIFARE Contactless Read / Write Reader (OEM/ODM):
  • Reader plastic moulding and PCB (Printed Circulated Board) design.
  • Reader ASIC: MF RC500 (Read/Write with 1K & 4K capacity).
  • Frequency range: 13.56 MHz (Philips Mifare Classic)
  • The emerging Combi card, which contains a single chip with a contact and contactless interface, is under research at APCS. With its contact and contactless capabilities, it is most suitable for use as digital transportation ticketing system

- Securiting printing:
  1. Gullloche Graphics
Guilloche graphics refers to complex line patterns formed of two more curved lines plotted according to mathematical principles

  2. Micro border
Micro-borders appear to be solid lines at first glance, but upon closer inspection with a magnifying glass, you will find that they are actually repeating text

  3. UV printing
UV inks "fluoresce" or appear to glow when exposed to ultraviolet light (black light). In normal lighting however, they are invisible to the naked eye.

  4. OVI (Optical Variable Inks)
This is a special kind of security ink, which changes in color depending on the angle at which it is viewed.

  5. Mirror Image Shift Inks
It is a effective security ink printing. The printed has a metal luster, which takes on two different colors with the help of special mirror. This color shifting feature cannot be copies by high resolution scanners, color copiers or other printing inks.
